Description
‘Los pasos de la memoria’ is a journey through the detonators of memory, my memory of the city where I was born and lived for 40 years. The work retraces the steps of my childhood, when my mother, a Spanish civil war exile in Mexico city, showed me the place that welcomed her, with the same wonder of a first arrival.
This project has been shown at Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Alfredo Zalce, Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, 2005, at Centro de la Imagen, Mexico City, 2006 and at Galerie Neg-Pos, Nîmes, France, 2015
