Pia Elizondo is a Mexican-French artist photographer. She holds a master’s degree from the École Nationale Supérieure de Photographie, Arles (2012).
Pia Elizondo’s work cuts into the worlds she inhabits and into her daily life to recreate an often dark world. She talks of memory, oblivion, voyage, and the intimate. The
image stands as an open door, as a mirror, and photography as a language that tells ofthe interior world of the photographer but also of the spectator. She has also
pursued all through her career a reflection on the image in the image.
She has been part of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores (SNC-FONCA-Mexico) since M)l. She has also worked as a workshop master in several institutions in Mexico and
in France for almost 20 years. At the moment she conducts a personal project and editing workshop extended over Six months at the École Nationale Supérieure de
Photographie Louis Lumiêre in Paris.
Her work is part of the collection ofthe Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco and the Fonds National d’Art Contemporain in Paris and since 2003 she is distributed by
Agence W in Paris.
She has published several books. “Los pasos de la memoria”, Ed Blacaman (2013), “Ferias”, Atelier Baie (2013) and “Songe d’oubli”, Arnaud Bizalion éditeur (2015).

devil’s playground”(2014), “Entre deux” (2016) and “The fall” (2017).
